Caught Man Utd's UEFA CL match juz now... And as a die-heart supporter, I have to say that it was RUBBISH! The team DID NOT play convincingly and the passes were just terrible. I respect Sir Alex and kudos to him for all that Man Utd have achieved but I am not a huge fan of the formation he's adopting... It being a 4-3-3... To be honest, we've been lucky to get away with 3wins and a draw playing in that formation.
I mean look at Van Nistlerooy. He's the type of striker who can certainly score but with only with his front facing the goal and the ball just within his reach. Scholes has been quiet and hasn't shown his real potential BUT I blame the formation for that. We kept passing the ball sideways and made lots of unnecessary passes. Where's the beautiful one touch football we've been so used to playing in our previous seasons? Those unnecessary touches slows down our momentum thus allowing the other team to defend with 10 men!! And Wayne Rooney... He's brilliant but his idiotic act cost him a red card and an automatic 2 match suspension!! Damn! Heinze got injured.. I really hope it's just a knock but if it turns out more than that... There goes our Defence!! Gary, Wessie, Fortune all out injured and the next match are against those Scousers!! Arghh!!
I really hope Man Utd get their form back and most importantly their formation right. Or else we'll be left struggling for the rest of the season!!
By the way, I'm down with flu... Not feelin too good. Took a nap for an hour then had to watch a poor match. I hope things get better soon... Right... gonna sleep now.. NITEZ... :X
